Year of establishment Faculty of Medicine of Hasanuddin University, formerly named as Makassar Faculty of Medicine, was established by the Ministry of Education and Cultural on January 27, 1956. As Hasanuddin University established, Makassar Faculty of Medicine was dismissed and merged into this university as Medical Doctor Study Program under the Faculty of Medicine. With the 60 years history, this study program has become one of the oldest Medical Doctor Study Programs in Indonesia and the oldest in eastern region of Indonesia.

Learning Outcomes 1.       Ability to perform professional medical practices in accordance with religious beliefs, morality, ethics, sincerity, discipline, law, and social norms, [ELO1];
